R&D short introduction:
Edge Cloud Engine (ECE) creates an agile, programmable network infrastructure for both 4G and 5G.
ECE team in Hangzhou develops common cloudification for LTE and 5G L2 & L3, and air-scale based L2 & L3 for 5G, which includes both L2 and packet scheduler implementation and development.
Working in ECE team you will cooperate with global team and top experts in new generation of telecommunication. Developing multicultural communication skill and international perspective.
Main Responsibility Area:
Overall responsibility of specified entities (e.g. features). Plans, designs and executes test cases in own area. Contributes to specification reviews. Works according to given tasks. Participates in work amounts estimation in own area. Consults, supports and guides own team’s external interfaces. Is responsible for sharing knowledge in his/her expertise area. Gives input to process development. Performs problem isolation and resolution. Applies knowledge and experience to determine root cause.
Role and responsibilities:
- Splits requirements and break down to executable user story level
- leading execution of technical problems
– Masters whole own sub-domain knowledge, review code or test case to guarantee code quality
- analyzing performance and capacity aspects
- identifying improvements related to SW domain
- perform technical studies for complex problems and decomposing issues into manageable parts
- defining requirements and analyzing customer features
Requirements:
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Very good knowledge of C/C++
- Experience in development under Linux
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and creative
- Self-motivated, target driven and innovative thinking
- Open minded and willing to accept challenge
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Responsible and committed
- Initiative, creative and analytical
- Good 5G/LTE/WCDMA mobility knowledge is a plus
- Experience in 5G development is a strong plus
- Knowledge of Telco cloud products is a plus
