As a software development engineer, you will join the Mobile Network Layer1 SoC (System on Chip) DSP team which is in charge of real-time SW development of the new NOKIA 4G/5G/Cloud base stations products.


You will be working with our DevOps software production systems and real-time signal processing solutions, especially radio interface and receiver algorithms (e.g. LTE/5G L1, beamforming) and creating real products for our customers. You understand the significance of good SW practices for high quality SW. Our responsibility area covers full chain of the embedded and real-time SW development cycle from early requirements analysis to final delivery to our operations and customers.


You will join the new NOKIA baseband module design and integration activities, especially in the following domains:

• Real-time platform on DSP

• 4G/5G L1 (PHY) real-time software on DSP and ARM


As part of an Agile Scrum, you design, develop and optimize the software functionality and the set of tests to deliver the software in the client version, in accordance with the coding methodology and rules.

You are implied from the specification phase and participate to the architecture and code reviews.

You deliver the software and support the 4G/5G system integration teams in an international context.

Engineer (M/F) in the field of telecoms and embedded real-time software, you have 3-5 years of experience in computer development: C / C ++ programming.

• Knowledge of Linux and real-time constraints.

• Knowledge of Git / Gerrit / Eclipse development environments.

• Knowledge of scripts (Shell, Perl, Python) and Matlab.

• Knowledge of DSP / ARM / SoC (System-On-Chip) processor architectures.


You know the benefits of agile SW development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery practices. Background in automated testing could help.

You have a good ability to communicate and work internationally.

You practice French and English fluently.

A team spirit and initiative will be very appreciated assets.


Previous experience in the following domains would be appreciated:

• CEVA DSP architecture and implementation.

• 4G/5G L1 (PHY) implementation.
