Job Position Summary Description:


The Experienced Account Manager –Transportation and Logistics will directly interact with customers and prospects to position the value of Nokia’s Software Solutions and Services as supported by business case development, references, and supporting analyst data. 


Key Responsibilities / Functions:


Assemble, prepare, and manage the Virtual Account Team consisting of Solution Engineers, Product Marketing, Strategic Partners and other relevant roles so that solutions are well positioned in accounts.  Pursue professional and personal development to ensure adequate knowledge of the markets and industries Nokia serves as well as the products and services Nokia provides.  Update on a timely basis CRM system with accurate customer and pipeline information.  Timely and complete administrative tasks like expense reports, etc.





Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)

  • At least 5 years’ experience in software sales, experience selling to Transportation or Logistics related businesses is desirable
  • A track record of performance excellence meeting and exceeding targets and objectives

  • Experience developing and executing tactical sales plans, which include quotas, and account objectives

  • Detail oriented, relationship-building skills, and a focus on a high level of customer service

  • Aptitude to work in a fast moving, dynamic and exciting start-up

Desired Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)


  • University degree required, preferred with a concentration in transportation, logistics and\or engineering, post graduate degree a plus
