About IP Optical Networks
Our IP/Optical Networks business group (ION) includes IP, optical and network automation technologies and related services sold to our communication service provider customers as well as adjacent markets including webscale companies and enterprises. Our comprehensive wide area networking (WAN) solutions enable our customers to build and operate automated, secure, and high-performance networks at massive scale – helping to interconnect people and things from any broadband access modality to – and among - edge clouds, central clouds, the Internet, and other services and data centers.
Job Description

Account Manager (ION) 

Responsible to drive, manage and develop ION products and solutions in Globe with the objective of increasing business growth and profitability of Nokia’s ION business. The candidate should be able to cultivate competitive intelligence and formulate convincing winning strategies including value propositions using the consultative selling approach to influence and justify customer investments in Nokia ION Solutions. Responsibilities will include management and control of the e2e sales cycle.


  • Identifying , Promoting and Establishing new ION business
  • Ensure ION Annual Targets ( Order,Revenue, Cash) and objectives are achieved
  • Proactively supports customer engagement and acts as voice of the customer internally within the organization
  • Direct interfacing with customers and development teams
  • Prepares Offer and Proposals
  • Interprets and translates internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to promote ION Solutions and Services
  • Has in-depth organizational and relevant market knowledge and uses understanding on how relevant areas can be integrated to achieve objectives
  • Contributes to strategic decisions within professional area
  • Solves complex problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment
  • Acts as a professional leader for staff ,/ work team / taskforces, who serves as best practice resource within own organizational unit
  • Often leads functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk and complexity, handles management issues including resource management and allocation of work
