Context and Role Description   
As part of Nokia’s initiative to grow our Software Applications & Analytics portfolio in Thailand,Account Manager position is opened in Bangkok, Thailand.
The position reports to the Applications & Analytics Sales Director for Asia North region.
Main role of the position is to define, drive and implement Go-To-Market strategy to grow Nokia Software Applications business for Thailand market.
This will be achieved by promoting and selling innovative solutions part of Nokia Applications and Analytics portfolio to both Telecom operators as well as Vertical segments (Government, Energy, large corporations etc) in Thailand.
Applications & Analytics portfolio include the following main products & solutions to be positioned
  • BSS portfolio: Real Time Rating, Charging, Mediation, Billing and Policy management solutions for Prepaid and Postpaid markets.
  • OSS portfolio: Solutions to address OSS transformation and modernization initiatives across Assurance/Umbrella Fault Mgt, Operations Automation, and Fulfilment domains
  • Customer Experience and Analytics: solutions ranging from device management, business workflows and machine learning solutions aiming at increasing the value of customer care, real time network and end user analytics, real time campaign management, as well as 360 degrees analytics perspective of the end user experience.
  • Security portfolio: mainly focused on real time malware detection, identity and access management, SS7 firewall
  • Packet Core attached components: Session Border Control, Media Resource function, Diameter routing, etc.
  • Telco Cloud/NFV Platform – Nokia CloudBand Platform
  • IoT Platform and ecosystem of applications
  • RAN network optimization and automation – Nokia EdenNet SON platform
    The requirements of the position are as follows:
  • Develop trusted local advisor relationships and sales leads for Nokia Applications and Analytics portfolio for opportunities identified with Telecom operators and/or Vertical segments.
  • Lead executive dialogues at C Level and other key customer stakeholders to influence the sales approach and our value proposition
  • Develop strategic relationships with local partners as part of the sales business model.
  • Develop Level 1 knowledge for each area of the portfolio.
  • Be a strong team player involving Nokia pre-sales and solutions group to develop a strong customer value proposition
Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for Applications & Analytics Order Intake target for a specific set of customers in Thailand as defined under the Sales Incentive Plan.
  • Develop trusted and strategic relationships with C level and key customer stakeholders/decision makers as well as with local partners.
  • Define Go-To-Market strategy and Account Attack Plans for current and targeted customer accounts.
  • Identify our competitive advantage and value proposition, competitor weaknesses, define creative solution positioning and commercial models to win business
  • Develop use case/value based selling approach to influence customers and position Nokia as the number one supplier for our customers in the Thailand market.
  • Present opportunities internally to Nokia management based on attractive value proposition / business case.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in a Telecom software sales role
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Software solutions sales to Telecom carriers in Thailand, including Customer Experience Management/Analytics solutions specifically to AIS, True and/or DTAC.
  • Proven strategic relationships at middle management and executive level including CEO/President, CTO, CIO, CMO with Telecom operators.
  • Ability to work across organisations and multi-cultural context.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in a technical subject.
