About Chief People Office

The Chief People Office (CPO) is a newly formed corporate function responsible for steering and servicing all Nokia wide People and workplace related topics.

 

Job Description 

APJ Payroll Intern is responsible for handling the monthly payroll activities for various AJP countries. We are looking for an intern who will support payroll-related data collection for external payroll processing and grant punctual and accurate payroll delivery.  Duration for internship is 6 months.

 

Job Responsibilities & Competencies

  • Assist on payroll inputs compilation (e.g. new hire, termination, leave accrual & etc.)
  • Compile supplemental claims summary for monthly payroll inputs
  • Manage medical claim summary report for monthly payroll inputs
  • Manage end-to-end payment memo process (creation, obtain approval, follow up payment status with accounting & finance)
  • Notify leavers on final salary pay day
  • Prepare regular post payroll reports (E.g. payroll return file to GM, restructuring listing to finance)
  • Contact & liases with local authorities for relevant payroll / statutory inquiries whenever necessary
  • Assist on other payroll tasks whenever necessary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, mainly on Excel & Words
  • Meticulous with details and numbers
  • Good verbal & written English communications skills.
