- Design and document the data models (logical, conceptual or physical) for a system he is in charge of
- Define mapping information to support the integrations of the system.
- Provide the metadata of the data models to support the enterprise data catalog.



- Create logical and/or physical data models using best practices and company standards to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.

- Maintain conceptual, logical or physical data models along with corresponding metadata.

- Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models.

- Recommend opportunities for reuse of data models in new environments.

- Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scripts.

- Evaluate data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies.

- Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions.

- Facilitate in applying Enterprise Standards, manage Repository management and documents data model translation decisions.

- Facilitate collaboration of individual data modelers with the ETL Development teams for defining and implementing Data mapping and Transformation rules.

- Identify Data Quality issues of source data in case of integration and collaborate with Enterprise Data Governance team.
