AVA Data Integration Engineer

Applicants must be able to demonstrate significant previous experience of:

·         Implementing data integration solutions to big data analytics platforms

·         Installing, configuring, securing, managing and monitoring data pipeline engineering technologies such as Apache Spark, Flume, Kafka and Nifi

·         Mobile telecommunications domain explicitly in handling OSS and L2 data feeds at speed and scale

·         Batch and streaming data implementation strategies

·         Working in a dynamic, fast moving DevOps environment

·         Security and privacy concerns within a large-scale IT organisation while handling user data

·         Coding and tailoring solutions in languages such as Python, Java, Scala and Go

·         DSL for data flows

Applicants should have:

·         Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position

·         Strong industry knowledge including products and services on Nokia’s core business

·         Experience across several domains in the field of data integration such as Telco, IT, health and IoT

·         Experience in working with a multi-cultural team over many geographic locations

·         Ability to influence without formal power

·         Very strong communication skills

·         A passion for Agile/DevOps working culture

·         Degree level qualification in computer science, engineering or other technical subject

·         Certification in cloud infrastructure such as OpenStack, Eucalyptus, AWS, Azure

·         Excellent English language skills
