The candidate should have experience in developing Machine learning (ML) models such as logistic regression, CART, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting etc., to address solutions to various telecom business problems.

Familiarity with supervised, unsupervised algorithms and the ability to execute them at scale. Understanding of ML models’ performance metrics and the ability to do feature engineering to achieve best performance.

Expertise in R or Python is highly required with knowledge of standard ML libraries, and the ability to document analysis in Notebooks (R, Jupyter, Zeppelin or like)

Experience in Telecom domain is highly desirable with knowledge in areas such as subscriber churn, capex optimization, customer experience management etc.

Knowledge of statistical tests (T-test, Chi-square test, ANOVA etc.), hypothesis testing and Bayesian inference concepts. Desirable to have experience in A/B testing & Design of Experiments.

Understanding of relational and non-relational DBMS and experience in writing SQL queries.

Ability to perform scalable machine learning using distributed frameworks such as Spark, Sparklyr, PySpark is required.

Experience in data visualization techniques to build intuitive visualizations to tell stories with data. Should have used Tableau, ggplot2 or matplotlib libraries

Desirable to have experience in implementing deep learning models using open source frameworks such as Keras, MXnet and Tensor Flow.

MSc. degree with at-least 6 years of work experience and/or Ph.D. in Data Science, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Computer Science or Mathematics.
