Requirements:
  • Engineering degree, strong academic qualifications in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering field
  • Minimum Five (5) years of experience in Systems Engineering in cable/MSO networking / telecommunications
  • NRS II / CCIE / JCIE certification desirable, IP expertise is required
  • SCTE DOCSIS Engineering Professional certification desirable.  Consultative Experience and knowledge of Cable-Headend CMTS/CM or Access technologies is strongly preferred (DOCSIS, CCAP, MTA, L2/L3 VPN functions, Analog RF spectrum, QoS, Security, Digital video and Multicast, Upstream/Downstream QAM, Channel bonding, CPE Subscriber Management).
  • Access technologies (GPON, NGPON2, EPON, 10G EPON, P2P, DOCSIS)
  • Network Element management systems
  • Project management
  • Layer 2/Layer3 protocols
  • IPTV video service delivery
  • SIP voice service delivery
  • Network engineering and network design
  • Network integration
  • Professional services sales/business development
  • Customer relationship management
  • Strong communication and technical presentation skills with the ability to influence engineers, customers and executives to become advocates of Nokia products and solutions
  • Exemplary organizing and planning skills, managing and prioritizing tasks, and problem solving capabilities
  • Proactive, detail and result-oriented, passionate & energetic
