About Customer Experience

Nokia’s Customer Experience organization is the company’s main interface to our customers and acts as the voice of the customer across all business groups. This unit includes Nokia’s customer teams, region and country management, as well as marketing. Our new Customer Experience organization is designed to drive our business, built on our deep customer relationships.

 

Job Description

The Customer Business Team (CBT) Head drives the strategic development and growth of the Telenor account across several markets in APJ (Bangladesh, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, and Thailand).

 

Job Responsibilities & Competencies

  • Representing Nokia as the main interface to the global Telenor Procurement Company (TPC), building and cultivating high-level relationships with the customer and other key stakeholders. 
  • Managing the end-to-end business and leading all commercial matters within territory.
  • Driving a team of account managers who execute account sales plans to achieve business targets.
  • Ensures execution of sales and marketing plans to achieve/exceed orders, sales, variable margin, and forecast accuracy targets
  • Implementing processes for strategic account management, planning and review, pipeline management, and effective forecasting
  • Resolving key issues and escalations within territory

 

Qualifications

The role requires a proactive Senior Sales Leader, with a strong experience across the technologies in Nokia’s product and solution portfolio.

  • Excellent familiarity with the telecommunications carrier sector, with a real interest in technology and its creative applications.
  • A proven track record of selling to major customers at executive levels in complex, multi-partner deals with long sales cycles
  • Solid performance history of achieving and/or exceeding targets, highly adept at converting viable opportunities to sales
  • Strong focus on developing new business (‘hunting’) in addition to business as usual sales
  • Demonstrated, strong experience in negotiating deals, and managing diverse teams, involving the full range of telecommunications carrier and related services, applications, middleware, devices and their management
  • Highly proficient in leading, negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts
  • Relevant experience in leading people within a matrix organization
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
