Consulting Systems Engineer
Qualifications:
Required:
Four-year Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Business Administration, or equivalent experience
Skills and Experience:
Minimum
5+ years of experience as a customer facing role (preferred consulting systems
engineer, technical sales engineer, etc.).
Must have examples of creatively solving customer problems in a
sales-oriented environment.

o Understanding
of complex sales strategies

to influence customers, real-world examples preferred
o Learn
customer “pain-points” and be able to clearly articulate these internally
o Existing
relationships with customers (SP, Transport, Energy, Enterprise, etc) a plus

o Proficient
at Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
o Optical/OTN/Ethernet
Required
o Optical
Planning Tool experience required
o Software
and Network Management Systems experience a plus
o IP
and 5G experience a huge plus

Market Knowledge a plus

be able to collaborate with internal teams
o Must
be able to track internal actions to be sure they are aligning with customer
needs

o Must
have excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal
communication. Must have excellent customer communication etiquette and
presentation skills.

to travel extensively without much notice, almost exclusively in the USA.
