CORE & Service Operations Specialist
Qualification
-
Bachelor’s or master’s in electrical, Electronical, Computer Science, Telecom Engineer or similar Engineering Degree.
Experience Requirements
-
5-7 years of experience in Telecommunications and Networking, or
-
5-7 years Network Operations experience
-
Must have hands on experience on Nokia Siemens CS and PS CORE operations & maintenance including Siemens R99 MSC, CMX-5000 as well as R4 MSS/MGW, SGSN DX200 platforms.
-
Core software applications including all CS & PS CORE components.
-
Network Protocol Analyzer, tracing and diagnostic tools for advance low-level troubleshooting such as K15, Wireshark etc.
-
Project and Process Management.
-
Service Delivery Management.
-
Incident & Problem Management as per the ITIL framework and best practices.
-
Experience of working with LTE networks
Desirable Skills

Good understanding of overall GSM-R fundamentals and network architecture.

Experience of working in Multi-vendor environment.

Understanding of IP over ATM Transport Networks with SIGTRAN knowledge & Troubleshooting skills.

Understanding of the fundamentals of IP Networking, Switching, Routing, Network Management and Network Security.

Good knowledge on Cisco and Juniper products.

Understanding of Cloud infrastructure/IMS/Core/SDM/VoLTE network.

Understanding of the VNF and Cloud infrastructure.

Understanding of IMS/VoLTE architecture.

Excellent management and technical problem resolution skills with the ability to work independently while meeting the demanding timelines.

Advanced knowledge of network implementation / integration processes.

Office Automation: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Planning & Design: Microsoft Project, Visio.

Overall understanding of Mobile and Fixed Networks; RAN, Core PS/CS, IP, VAS, BSS, OSS, Dispatcher, Radio, SIM-Cards, SS7, UNIX, Windows, Backup, Security.
Certifications

CCNP Routing and Switching.
