Demonstrated knowledge of attending strategic accounts:
The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Nokia competitors, and demonstrated success with attending Telcos service providers in Germany including sales strategy, opportunity discovery, forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, and short, mid, and long-term opportunity management. The ideal profile for this role is of a hunter more than a farmer, meaning that focus will be executive customer engagement and business development rather than business management.
 
A strategic thinker and planner:
The candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of working with complex accounts including calls on key decision makers and all other levels of the account.
 
Excellent relationship manager:
The ideal candidate shall be a strong a self-starter with ability to build executive relationships, articulate Nokia solutions and business strategies, create the demand, negotiate contracts and close deals. (S)he will act as a Single point of Contact for all customer requirements and will be responsible to maximize customer satisfaction.
The maximum focus will be to create long-term trustful relationships with maximum decision makers for our local customers in Germany, including DE-CIX, NetCologne, EWE TEL, Deutsche Glasfaser, Netcom BW, VSE NET, ENBW, BITel, WilhelmTel, etc….
 
Solutions expertise:
Strong Fix networks technology knowledge required, including xDSL, GPON/EPON, IP routing, DWDM, and Professional Services.
Good knowledge about new Telecom market trends (Cloud RAN and 5G, IOT, SDN and Network Function Virtualization, Data centers).
 
Experience:
The ideal candidate has at least fifteen years of direct selling experience in high-end Telco services market, for companies in the Telecom infrastructure, IT or system integrator segment.
Ideally, (s)he manages business in Germany or have a strong experience with a Telecom network or IT infrastructure company in Germany.
