HARDWARE DEVELOPMENT summer intern
The Position:
The student will be responsible to devise approaches for and then conduct unit testing of circuit board assemblies and sub-assemblies under the direction of experienced developers. Write test reports, coordinate lab activities, and troubleshoot complex state-of-the-art electro-optical products.

Good problem resolution skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment alongside engineers from varying disciplines.
Desired Skills:
Prior experience with electronic test equipment including DMM’s, oscilloscopes, and frequency counters.
Prior experience with fiber optics.
Knowledge of local area network protocols, host operating systems, and programming languages including Ethernet, Linux, TCP/IP, shell scripts, and C/Python/Tkl.
Familiarity with programmable logic devices, including CPLDs and FPGA’s, a plus.
Required Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a bachelors degree or higher in engineering from an accredited college/university
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
Able to work from the Murray Hill, NJ office
