Required
- Master degree in electrical engineering / computer science / computer engineering or a related field (or BS + 5 years experience)
- Profound knowledge of C programming language
- Profound knowledge of embedded programming concepts
- Knowledge of optical communication systems
Desired
- Knowledge of test automation
- Knowledge of TCL / Python or similar scripting
- Experience in digital signal processing
- Experience in feedback control systems
- Experience in assembler
- Experience with revision control systems (e.g. ClearCase, git)
- Experience with Eclipse based IDE
- Knowledge of C++
- Knowledge of system theory for optical communication systems
- Knowledge of design of coherent 40Gb/s and 100Gb/s systems
- Knowledge of high speed, digital, optical transmission techniques
- Experience with LabView
- Basic knowledge in electronics/ EMI and optic
- Very good English skills fluent in spoken and written
- Interest in collaboration with international partners
- Ability to work independent and self-organized
- Flexibility and ability to cope with pressure
