Job Description


General Purpose:

  • Deep understanding of the OSS/BSS business domain and Nokia solutions/products capabilities:
    • Policy & Charging: OCS, CHF, PCRF/PCF functionality
      • Experience in 3GPP standards, 4G/5G, REST, Diameter, Camel, SS7  
    • Charging Gateway, Mediation, Billing, Charging and Analytics/Real-time Triggering (RTT)
  • Understand customers’ current and future architecture including processes, end-customer products and related network services, applications and integration.
  • Has good communication skills: can fluently interact with the customer’s key stakeholders and Nokia project team
  • Can successfully negotiate & capture requirements with the customer, design, estimate cost and see through the delivery of a solution
  • Technical management of the team, including resource management, schedule planning, mpp creation, risk and escalation management

Job Responsibilities & Competencies

Main Responsibility Areas include, but are not limited to:

  • Technical Solution Proposal support and Professional services effort estimations for project costing
  • Design solution architecture (Application/DB/HW/HA/DR/Cloud)
  • High Level Design for delivery projects, complex CRs and PoCs
  • Low Level Design and work packages
  • Provide inputs, dependencies to project plan, work with the PM
  • Work with Technical Lead & delivery team to deliver the design
  • Provide technical solution consultation for customer and SI partners
  • Play the role of liaison between Non-technical and Technical teams
  • Generate, own, execute and maintain, the detailed Project Schedule, mpp for a given project
  • Raise risks, develop mitigation plans and trigger escalations as needed
  • Understand the overall project deliverables from a technical perspective and help facilitate various project execution stages independently
  • Coordinate and track the work and progress of the allocated technical resources for the release
  • Open and track the appropriate Jira and Change Requests (CR’s) tickets for the execution of the release.
  • Work locally to tackle burning technical issues, inputs required and pending items for development.
  • Support QA and UAT phases by facilitating the team communication, trigger the appropriate escalations or tickets, and report progress to Global team.
  • Support post Go-live support transition and customer acceptance
  • Support pilot and production rollouts for the release.
  • Hardware sizing for both Bare Metal and Cloud.
  • Capability to play DTM role across multiple products in big projects



  • Hands-on experience in Nokia SPS Policy & Charging / Data Refinery solution
  • Has both Pre-sales and delivery experience
