Dimensioning - Software Development & Engineering
Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
· Masters Degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Information Management Science.
· Thorough understanding of capacity and performance dimensioning and principles.
- Good working knowledge and experience with .NET 4.5 or above/C#/ WPF/ASP.NET MVC
·
· Object Oriented design knowledge and experience
· Good working knowledge of GUI design and implementation
· Good working knowledge of generalized report generators – generating formatted reports of dimensioning tool results
· Excellent working knowledge and practical experience in constructing practical test strategies and plans.
· Practical working knowledge of test automation tools, methods, and technology
· Hands on experience in working in labs and test environments
· Excellent communication skills & customer interface experience
· Ability to interact and collaborate effectively across product, project, and business unit boundaries.
· Hands-on approach to problem solving
Desired Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
· Experience in Cloud Infrastructures, particularly OpenStack, and knowledge of VMware desirable, and knowledge of Cloud architectures, virtualization, and container infrastructure
· Technical understanding or working knowledge of Nokia Software products, services, and key deployments
· Technical understanding of core networking, billing/payment, network management, cloud infrastructure software, and analytics.
· Understanding of end-to-end use-case scenarios in key customer networks within telecommunications
· Ability to provide clarity and to bring practical, simple solutions to complex problems.
· Ability to keep an open-mind, to learn new ways of doing things, to be agile/nimble, to be flexible
Experience with Web technologies: JavaScript, CSS, ReactJS, Redux, Node.js, RESTful APIs
