Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent;
  • Broad knowledge of telecommunication and information technologies;
  • Available for international travel;
  • Experience to work in a multi-disciplinary and international context with strong customer focus;
  • Advanced level of English language skills (French is a plus);  
  • Proven Technical leadership with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility;
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable in discussing ideas and solutions with domain experts and technical or operations managers.
  • Able to complement or represent project or program managers in customer facing technical review meetings as technical consultant.
  • Self-starter, demonstrates a ‘can-do’ attitude and open to learn new things;
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
  • Able to adapt quickly to new role requirements;
  • Autonomous, result driven, effective decision maker; 
  • Analytical skills to analyze requirements, functional or operational specifications;
  • Ability to understand and support High-Level Designs, to prepare project related documentation such as Low-Level Design, Validation Strategy, Test Specifications and plan, Methods Of Procedures, Acceptance Test Plan, etc. As a plus, ability to explain and negotiate technical plans with relevant customer counter parts and manage execution.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
     
     
    Technical Skills
     
  • IP networking and Internet technologies;
  • Advanced Communications: VoLTE, IMS, SBC, Messaging, Subscriber Data Management,
    VoIP technologies, Application Servers, …
  • Operating systems and commercial Databases, SQL, Unix scripting;
  • Professional engineering environments using HP, Oracle, Solaris, Linux etc. ;
  • Cloud skills (Openstack or VmWare, Docker, microservices, …);
  • Data Center environment (CBIS, Nuage, Orchestration, VNF and VNF-Mngt);
  • Network troubleshooting and analysis tools, e.g. Wireshark;
  • Experience with test automation tools, simulators and lab service: Robot, Jenkins, Git;
  • Some of the following languages: Ansible, Python, TOSCA, Heat, Yang, Netconf, RestAPI. 
  • Telco, IMS, VoLTE solutions knowledge or functionally similar platforms
    (e.g.  IMS CSCF, IMS HSS, DNS, IMS MRFP, IMS MRFC, TAS, MG, MGC, SBC, etc.);
  • Having working knowledge on some of the following protocols, interfaces, platforms: 3GPP, 3GPP2, SIP, SS7, ANSI-41, IMS, HSS, CSCF, MRF, TAS, ENUM, RTP, DNS, and IP routing;
