Job Description
 
In this role, you will be part of the Infrastructure team, which ensures the stability, availability and high performance of the IT infrastructure that serves Nokia’s entire workforce and upholds the technology for almost every single interaction of the company’s business. At IT Infrastructure, we set up, maintain and optimize Nokia’s enterprise computing and networking capabilities; we administer and continuously advance our Digital Workplace; and we grant IT support to a global community of end-users. On top of keeping our end-users satisfied every day, our immediate strategic priority is to progress rapidly in our aggressive digital transformation and in our journey towards a cloud-based environment. In IT Infrastructure, you are part of a team that is redefining IT and shaping the future of Nokia.
 

Recently Nokia signed a strategic collaboration to move on-premise IT infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform. This migration includes all Nokia IT data centers and servers around the world, as well as various software applications, into Google’s public cloud.

The successful candidate will have the objective to Introduce and lead the culture of Cloud Cost Continue Optimization in IT infrastructure. As a key member will contribute in the Value Optimization for the stakeholders combining Enhanced Financial Management Practices with operational needs like speed, agility and flexibility

 
Job Responsibilities & Competencies
  • Process, the cloud costs, collecting operational data (budget, actual and projected forecasts)
  • Create the proper visualization and tools by service, business owner/unit, environment, etc… ensuring a proper allocation reflecting business needs
  • Cost Evolution analysis and benchmarking between the different teams in order to increases the performance of the entire organization
  • Enable the organization to understand its own cloud cost
  • Help decision in providing all financial business case supports to trade-off between operations and finance
  • Optimize the value for the Business owner, establishing performance indicators on costs related to the cloud
  • Change Management actions in order to facilitate the new value creation model that the public cloud is bringing
  • Continuous optimization process moving from understanding the it business operational needs to a strict application of company preferred measures
  • Create the proper governance meetings in order to ensure that the business owner value is optimized and the rationalization of the use of resources is obtained
The following are key qualifications:
  • Strong ability to communicate across multiple levels within the organization, including the executive level
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, offering guidance and direction
  • Results driven individual with experience managing complexity  
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and ability to influence leadership regarding proposed optimizations
  • Capability to create the synthesis from multiple details
  • Critical and Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Continuously meets strict deadlines, while requiring others to do the same, and motivates team to produce high quality deliverables
  • Superior writing and interpersonal skills; Fluency in English
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and other relevant technologies
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or equivalent practical experience, graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience in Finance, mainly in controlling and process definition and implementation
  • Required managerial experience in an international environment
  • Natural interest in the advanced IT infrastructure environment
