Proposal/Bid Management/coordination. To understand overall

responsibility for managing a customer bid for technical solution

deliverables (i.e. collaboration to assemble bid team, confirmation on

GSS supported scope, timelines, resources and all other activities in

terms of project management of the bid) while ensuring timely

delivery of high quality deliverables. Proven experience in handling

simultaneous cases/ project with short timelines and in multicultural

and virtual environments.

• Nokia Product portfolio knowledge. Knows overall portfolio of Nokia

products and technologies

• Product and technology knowledge. Knowledge of telecom industry,

related technologies, industry and technology evolution , products,

interfaces and protocols and tools.

• Relationship management. Creates relationship strategy and

establishes strong relationship and credibility with GSS internal

customer's key stakeholders to ensure value is delivered to increase

GSS acceptance.

• Negotiation. Understands that all interaction can be considered as

negotiation, e.g. finding positions and motives. Always prepares for

the technical sales negotiations with the appropriate team involved.

• Working across Boundaries. Supports and builds communities

within Nokia and GSS across GSS locations, regions and is able to

relate to individuals from different backgrounds and at varying

organizational levels

• Engaging Dialogue. Communicates in an open and engaging

manner. Fluently transmits complex information, adjusting style to

suit the needs of the audience. Interacts with others in a sensitive,

respectful and consultative manner. Supports others, and

encourages open and candid communication in teams

• Decision Making. Takes responsibility for making decisions in own

area. Prioritizes actions and decisions appropriately, taking account

of wider GSS objectives. Confidently translates decisions into actions

for self and others.

• Personal Drive & Coping with Pressure. Takes on demanding goals

and challenges. Proactively identifies personal development

strategies that add value to the GSS organization as well as to

individual progression.

• Problem Solving. Analyses data, situations and events. Breaks

down information and establishes patterns and trends. Produces a

range of workable solutions to achieve specific objectives. Makes

rational judgments from available information and analysis.
