Hardware Test Engineer

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Technology or an equivalent education;

Good knowledge of telecommunication standards;

Experience in Perl or Python or Bash scripting
-
Knowledge of RF test equipment (RF signal generators, network analyzers, and power meters) and automation techniques.

Ability to write test cases base on the requirements, design documents, and various standards;
-
Working knowledge of test strategies and processes;
-
Experience in development of test plans;
-
Ability to manage test defects and drive them to closure;
-
Ability to review, organize and analyze test results and reports;
-
Develop and maintain modifications to existing test fixtures.

Operate and maintain Device Under Test (DUT) Test Stations and Switch Boxes;
-
Create automated test scripts using LabView, QTP, Python and other related off the shelf tools.

Knowledge of RF propagation theory. Knowledge of modern wireless communication air interface technologies (LTE, CDMA, GSM, WiMAX, Bluetooth, etc).

Background in RF receiver, transmitter, and amplifier functionality used in cellular infrastructure products.

Knowledge of Industry regulatory standards and their test requirements including EMI/EMC and air interfaces (IEC, UL, CEPT, FCC, etc).
