Head of AVA Development & Operations
Applicants must be able to demonstrate significant previous experience of:
•Servant leadership of agile software development by multiple geographically distributed teams with diverse business cultures
•Leading the development for a mature cloud-based software product with thousands of users
•Transition from separate Development & Operations to DevOps
•Working within a large matrix global organization with complex stakeholder environments, including as a Line Manager
•Working across cultures with sensitivity, partnering and drive with focus on business impact
•Facilitation and communication with large technical and/or senior leadership groups
Applicants should:
Current formal qualification in a recognised agile software development methodology
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a similar position and/or management and/or related functions
Strong industry knowledge including products and services on Nokia’s core business as well as adjacent areas (e.g. Telco IT, applications, big data analytics)
Demonstrated ability to develop service business with partners of all size
Deep experience and Knowledge in applying process improvement methodologies in the context of software deployment, integration or support
Familiarity with current batched and streamed data transfer technologies
Business orientation and good understanding of Nokia organization and processes
Previous experience in Automation, IT or Business Development is a distinct advantage.
Ability to drive and guide service projects, strong negotiation skills
Sound methodical skills with attention to detail and process requirements.
Ability to lead without formal power and line authority. Excellent presentation, networking and communication skills (especially in a multicultural environment). High energy, initiative, enthusiasm and persistence. 1-2 additional languages are favourable.
Experienced inspirational leader and line manager with proven experience of building teams from scratch and integration to a high-performance team.
Experience in people management and affinity for personal development and talent management
