 Contributes in defining the strategy and roadmaps in CDMA-N product/technology area and implementing strategies within their own team. 
Main responsibility areas include leading and managing CDMA-N R&D organization including multiple team members across global environment. Leads team based on the overall strategy.  Is responsible for resource and budget planning and execution for organization, including analyzing actual expenses vs plan/LE and identifying corrective actions to meet targets.  Has individual responsibility for setting targets, operations, resourcing, results and competence development of their business organization in liaison with other managers.  Applies proven experience in line management to set priorities.  Provides input to significant business decisions. Acts as a role model in implementing company-wide processes, strategies and values and leads change.  
Leads/coordinates development and test activities across multiple sites across the globe to ensure on-time delivery of high quality releases.  Leads and drives quality continuous improvement activities including EDA/RCA.  Leads process improvement activities to maximize efficiencies.   Coordinate the biannual source code escrow at Iron Mountain products deployed at Verizon
 
Responsible for determining third party support requirements and working with procurement to negotiate maintenance and support contacts.
Ensure the organization’s compliance with National Security Agreement (NSA) requirements
 
Manages the line activities; resource co-ordination, competence renewal, competence development and career planning of individual contributors.

Can develop and implement complex and innovative concepts. Problems require searching and selecting. Anticipates problems, seeks opportunities. Models creative and innovative work methods.
Effective management of resources and development/implementation of plans and processes is required. Interprets policies and establishes procedures. Increased awareness and influence of other functions outside of own business area. Decision making often repeated in similar manner - able to choose correct solution or modify existing solution.
Accountable for organization goals, achievement and cost performance.  
Subject matter expertise in CDMA-N technology and having a broad perspective required.
Education:  Computer science degree and/or relevant software development experience and leadership is required.
