Health, Safety, and Environment Manager
Qualifications – Internal Education and Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in a Safety, Science or Environmental Safety program, or equivalent,
- At least 5 years’ experience in the area of construction, manufacturing, general industry. Safety regulatory compliance required. Hazardous Materials and Environmental management experience a plus.
- In-depth understanding of the language of regulatory agencies governing Safety, and the ability to interpret those to the organization, required. Demonstrated knowledge of, and skill in performing root cause analysis, risk assessments, work plan development, performance improvement techniques
- Advanced skills in using spreadsheets (e.g., MS Excel), Word, and proficiency with data analyses, required. Strong organizational skills, and aptitude for detail, required.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills required. Demonstrated presentation skills and experience conducting educational sessions required.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Ability to travel last minute to various domestic locations to complete post-incident investigations, site health and safety assessments, up to 50% of the time.
