Instructional Designer
Required Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
- Superb written and verbal communication skills and proficiency writing instructional content.
- Shown ability to create content for a global audience.
- Experience analyzing, building, and assessing curricula for asynchronous and synchronous classroom-based or virtual training environments.
- Fluency with instructional systems design models and methodologies, authoring tools, and learning management systems integration.
- Experience as a solo or lead content developer on Instructional Systems Design projects related to adult learners.
- Confirmed effectiveness with global and virtual teams.
- Exposure to Web authoring and multimedia tools such as basic HTML, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop. Experience with JavaScript and CSS a plus but not required.
- Project management experience a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of instructional systems design experience on projects involving adult learning audiences.
- At least 7 years of proven instructional design experience using ADDIE or similar methodology
- At least 7 years of designing large scale, social, online learning programs (MOOCs or similar)
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a sales enablement organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Education or similar field or equivalent experience.
