IP and Optics AM Nordics


POSITION OVERVIEW


Senior sales professional responsible for maximizing Nokia’s share of IP and optics in Telia, through proactive business development and continuous account management.  This team member operates in a multi-country environment contributing to the overall Telia business for Nokia.  The person will act as the single point of contact towards Telia Norway for all business groups as well, leveraging the many resources of Nokia across our pre-sales, end to end solutions teams, technical architecture teams, back office and more to bring the best of Nokia to support our customers’ short- and long-term business objectives, thereby securing profitable business for Nokia.


The role is based in Fornebu, Norway or Sweden and requires 50% travel.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Establishes productive, professional relationships with executives and key personnel.

  • Ensure the management of customer relations and developing new business.
  • Build influential relationships with key customer stakeholders ensuring multiple customer touch points.

  • Understand the needs of the customer, identify and develop sales opportunities and virtually manage the Nokia teams to answer these opportunities in the most promising way.

  • Ensure the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.

  • Supports CBT head to develop a strategic account plan that clearly identifies business potential, short and mid-term opportunities and competitive analysis.

  • Define with RBC, pre-sales, and CBT head commercial strategies using technical solutions as building blocks for the overall winning solution.

  • Ability to close and negotiate contracts in the best interest for Nokia.

Maintains deep knowledge of the communications sector and relevant Nokia solutions to be sold.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:


  • Achieves assigned order intake and sales, and other financial KPI quota for designated account.
  • Achieves customer objectives defined by company management.

  • Supports strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.

  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings.



PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

 

  • 8-10 years of business experience, preferably including at least 3-4 years’ experience in working at a Telco, MSO/ISP and/or selling to those.

  • 2+ years’ experience selling complex technical services and solutions within telecommunications / ICT industry.

  • Expert knowledge of IP and optics technology and networks.

  • Strong knowledge of network architecture of Transport networks for CSPs.

  • Experience being a representative of a company to external and internal stakeholders e.g. customers, the industry, government, employees.

  • Proven track record of achievement and over achievement of targets

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

  • Experience in large, complex, multi-product and service sales and organizations

  • Highly motivated, innovative and never satisfied,

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills

  • Business development skills

  • Team player

  • Able to deal effectively with complexity

  • Diagnostic and problem-solving skills

  • Technical degree and/or MBA

  • English and Danish, Swedish or Norwegian language skills a must incl. business fluency
