Job Description

IP NPI engineer will be responsible for BMT,FOA & Certification test  for IP router/switch, it will cover 7950/7750/7450/7210/7705/5620SAM/SDN, etc.

 

The responsibility will include but not be limited to following fields:

 

- Works independently with sales/rPLM & 2LS/3LS to complete Central Bidding test and ensure results match product performance.

 

- Works independently for First of trial in live network.

 

- MIIT certification test to get the boarding pass.

 

- New Product knowledge transfer internally.

 

- Responsible for the design, development, verification, and documentation of test plan based on customer requirements.

Experience/knowledge within the following areas is required:

 

- Preferably a Master of Science / Bachelor degree or equivalent in any of the following: Computer Science, Telecommunication, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering

 

- Hands-on experience in Bridging and Routing technologies.

 

- Experience using test equipment Spirent or IXIA.

 

- Experience working with IP routing protocols such as BGP, IS-IS, OSPF etc.

 

- Working with L2/L3 VPN using MPLS/GRE.

 

- Experience working with signaling protocols such as MPLS/RSVP, and LDP

 

- Experience using QoS (Quality of Service) models and marking s/schedule.

 

- Multicast and Multicast VPN experience

 

- PPPoE/IPoE/Radius experience

 

- Network synchronization and timing experience, such as Sync-E/1588/ACR/DCR etc.

 

 

Experience/knowledge within the following areas is considered as a plus:

 

- 1~2 years working experiences in Alcatel-Lucent 7x50 products

- CCIE, JNCIE is preferred.
