IT Assurance and Compliance 
 
IT Assurance and Compliance team is part of the Cyber Security organization and is responsible for assisting in achieving Nokia’s financial, operational and strategic goals, while supporting IT compliance with applicable laws and internal/external regulations. Areas of responsibility include:
  • Identifying, assessing and supporting the managing of IT risks and related mitigations.
  • Managing IT compliance assessments & IT Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) audits.
  • Guiding IT business and service continuity governance. 
  • Owning, developing and supporting the IT Privacy topic. 

 

IT Compliance Advisor 

 

The IT Compliance Advisor works with the external Auditors, Suppliers and Nokia Business Groups, and IT teams to effectively manage compliance and assurance activities, including risk management.

 

Key Responsibilities

  

As a crucial member of the IT Assurance and Compliance team, the purpose of the position is to manage IT Compliance, through reviewing and maintaining existing IT compliance requirements, continuously identifying emerging compliance risks. In your role, you’ll strive to continuously drive improvements and efficiency for IT compliance processes and approaches in order to manage and mitigate the related risks.

 

You will be engaging with key senior stakeholders across the organization to ensure IT compliance is used to inform critical decisions.

 

Key accountabilities include:

  • Provide subject matter expertise and oversight on Compliance activities with applicable laws and internal/external regulations.
  • Conduct compliance assessments, gap analysis, remediation tracking, and risk mitigation.
  • Provide periodic reporting of audit findings and corrective actions to management and external key stakeholders
  • Develop and execute an annual audit plan based on the prioritization of enterprise-wide risk.
  • Act as a key liaison with external auditors to coordinate a plan for maximum possible reliance on the testing performed by the company’s internal audit function
  • Provide advice on compliance matters to management and act as an advocate and champion of compliance within the company to promote awareness and understanding of compliance issues, applicable laws and regulations and consequences of non-compliance.
  • Perform investigations into specific regulatory and compliance issues as deemed necessary.
  • Identify emerging new risks and/or compliance requirements that may impact the company.
 
  • Five plus years of experience in security and privacy management, auditing, and IT risk management.
  • A track record of carrying out compliance development/assessments in a changing IT environment.
  • Knowledge of various industry and government strategies and standards in privacy and security including ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001, and NIST standards.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and privacy laws is preferred.
  • Solid organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather and critically evaluate information.
  • Firmly committed to support the company’s Code of Conduct, compliance, enforcement, and values.
  • Must have superior written, verbal and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Good project management skills – developing roadmap/schedule and managing deliverables
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English is required for this position.
  • Education and Certifications (exhaustive):
    • Undergraduate degree in information systems or computer science.
    • Advanced degree in engineering, Cybersecurity, information assurance, information security, information systems or computer science.
    • Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP).
    • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
    • Certified in Information Systems Risk Management (CRISC).
      or the ability to work toward obtaining certifications.
