Nokia is a key supplier to help operators on their transformation journey to Telco Cloud business. To drive Nokia’s and our Customers success Nokia requires highly effective internal capabilities across Marketing, Sales, Pre-Sales / Tendering and Post-Sales Service customer engagement, digitally and face to face.
The Design and Realization of such Capabilities will be executed in Nokia’s global “Digital Customer Center of Excellence”. The Center of Excellence is seeking innovative and passionate software solution engineers and designers who share our vision of bringing excellence in all of Nokia’s Digital Customer interactions.

You will be working with a highly driven team that has delivered countless successful solutions to customer teams around the world.  This is not your typical software development position. Our team is focused on rapid prototyping and working against short deadlines.
The Digital Customer Center of Excellence drives the exploration of customer relationship management (CRM) software. Shift to cloud computing, provides Nokia (along with other strategic partners) with the next generation of social, mobile and cloud technologies helping Nokia to achieve excellence of Digital Customer experience.

We are seeking innovative and passionate Solution Experts in the following role of Solution Designer, who share our vision of bringing the power of cloud computing to enterprises.

The Digital Customer Center of Excellence will be responsible for successfully creating enterprise Digital Customer experiences using Salesforce.com solutions and services and integrating Salesforce.com with other enterprise systems and Application Exchange partners. These technologies include, but are not necessarily limited to Salesforce.com, Force.com and Database.com APIs, Lightning/Apex, Heroku, mobile development technologies, and ETL technologies. It also requires that the Solution Expert maintains an ongoing comprehensive understanding of the cloud-computing ecosystem. Ideally, the candidate has knowledge of CRM solutions, awareness of Salesforce.com and any certification with Salesforce.com is advantageous. However, candidates with a solid software engineering and technical architecture and development background in Java, .Net and integration will also be valued.
This position requires someone who has great interpersonal skills to work with many different departments within the company including our executive management team, marketing, sales management, and operations groups.
In your role as a Solution Expert, your day-to-day tasks will consist of creating visually engaging, innovative and functional mobile and web-based Digital Customer engagement solutions.
  • Work closely with Digital Customer Capability team, Enterprise Architects and Cyber Security teams and directly with Nokia’s Business stakeholders to design and deliver cloud solutions to meet Digital Customer experience needs.
  • Have ownership of the solution from end to end and be responsible for design and documenting a technical solution based on project requirements and industry best practices.
  • Potential to lead and mentor other software engineers across projects as experience grows.
  • Enforce sound development practices and ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Digital Customer Capability teams and our Nokia Business stakeholders.
  • Contribute excellence in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business.
  • Proven ability to design, optimize and integrate business processes across disparate systems.
  • Experience with ETL tools.
  • Experience developing and deploying custom end user systems.
  • Experience overseeing team members.
  • Have thorough understanding of OOP, design patterns, and enterprise application integration.
  • Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies
  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.
Desired Skills/Experience:
  • Extraordinary client facing skills with the ability to solve the clients' needs and manage scope in a positive way.
  • Agile methodology experience
  • Must be driven by user experience always with strong ability to achieve solution needs with the user first in mind at all times.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with other Nokia Digital Customer teams to take instruction and drive better solutions, delivering above the expectations of the Business stakeholder.
  • Ability to actively participate, organize and from time to time lead Business stakeholder sessions that result in clear requirements and technical design, even when working with non-technical members of stakeholder teams.
  • Ability to generate stakeholder sign-off and commitment to these designs and the solution.
