Key tasks and main responsibilities:
  • Captures and analyzes demands, responsible of the demand coordination acc. to IT processes. Ensures that user requirements are captured so that those represent the user needs
  • Proposes, creates and defines solutions best fitting to the business problems/needs and ensures that solutions are analyzed and planned properly. Supports creation of feature, architectural and solution documentation.
  • Supports  key IT stakeholders in defining the process and IT capability development portfolio together with Business stakeholders.
  • With support from other IT functional roles, participates to investment proposal preparation and  business case creation (including relevant business& IT value impact). Understands dependencies in solution design like costs, schedule, quality, speed, and cost effective implementation options.
  • Creates, facilitates and maintains the process and global concept documentation according to Nokia standard methodology and business.
  • Accountable for the solution design and architecture alignment together with Enterprise/Solution Architecture. With stakeholders/users and development team, determine if a solution can be built that meets user needs within specified constraints (time, money, resources etc.) . Accountable for efficiency, effectiveness and quality of detailed solutions.
  • Creates project proposals for PM0 / Phase 0, and can participate overall project execution or guide external project team. Can also act as a Project manager for project if applicable.
  • Contributes to supplier selection evaluation.
  • Supports solution deployments and executes testing. Supports security assessments and use phase issues /preparation. Finds and proposes improvements /corrective actions for issues occurring during the use phase.
  • Supports stakeholders in end user training development and delivery. Creates and maintains respective training materials and ensures training to key users. May support in respective change management activities.
  • Accountable that proper technical solution documentation will be created
  • Participates in prototyping, pilots and Communicates actively, co-operates at various level across business, IT and IT partners. Ensures terminology used  (technical or business) is understood by both business and developers, and acts as a professional coach  on specified content.Understands platforms, applications and process standards. Understands cloud concepts, architectural components, deployment models and dependencies validating solutions, design and alternatives from process, change or business viewpoints.
  • Understands technical integration features, standard, technologies (e.g. EDI, API, RFC, AIF) over all architecture layers, design integration concepts and guide build and change execution.
  • Assist with business escalation for P1-P2 incidents impacting business performance and RCA review and solution improvements following the Nokia demand / service process.
  • May also have parallel or supportive project role, e.g. “Product Owner”, “Scrum Master”, or “Development team  member”  in agile projects, for ensuring continues improvement

  • Is a Lean-Agile Leader who understands the complexities of large-scale solution development and applies Lean-Agile principles and practices to address them
  • Enriches professional expertise with profound knowledge of the market, industry, competition and / or technology environment in the area of specialization
 Technical skills:
  • Advanced skill in creating and maintaining technical documentation
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in both waterfall and agile SDLC practices
  • Advanced skill in configuring and supporting software applications/infrastructure designs in area of specialization
  • Advanced ability to research, analyze and recommend improvements to the organization's use of existing capabilities
  • Able to explain a complex problem in laymen's terms
  • Deep knowledge of GIT (Gerrit, Gitlab, Github) and SVN
  • Broad knowledge of software configuration management (build processes, binary distribution, build avoidance, multisite)

  • Knowledge of interfaces to other applications (e.g. Jira, Artifactory, and Jenkins)

  • Deep knowledge of continous integration and continuous delivery

  • Ability to drive DevOps mindset and continous improvement
