The Nokia Managed Services organization is a fully dedicated Business Unit within Global Services Business Group, positioned transversally and thus cooperating and leveraging the four product-focused Business Groups within Nokia. We are an industry leader in telecom networks managed services and serve 200+ Managed Services engagements across Operators and Enterprises worldwide. Our Managed Services strategy is driven by responding to key technology trends (e.g. Big Data Analytics, Virtualization, Cloud, etc.) and also innovating as a Managed Services leader by federating an ecosystem of partners and providers to meet complex business objectives of telcos and enterprises.
Managed Services enables customers to benefit from network and operational transformation, including the move to a connected world in which IoT operations, analytics, cloud and security play critical parts.
Our Next Generation Portfolio combines advanced analytical tools, network and service management, cloud operations, IoT operations and a Build, Operate, Transfer model to provide the tailored package that operators need to transform their business and excel in their market.
The Head the Managed Services Cloud & Security Business Line is a leadership role, reporting to the Head of Managed Services Business Unit, with key responsibility of bringing the MS Cloud & Security products to market. The key activities of the Business Line are centred on continuous innovation, product and solution design, product cost optimization, product standardization and quality. The Business Line Head owns the P&L of the MS Cloud & Security Business Line and drives the necessary actions to realize business results (revenues, margin, cost) throughout the MS Market Units.
The Head of MS Cloud & Security Business Line works closely with the MS Strategy & Portfolio to align and define the Cloud & Security e2e solutions as part of the MS Portfolio, driving key strategic programs and building complementary industrial partnerships with wide variety of partner ecosystem.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Defining the Cloud & Security product roadmap according to strategic / market needs in line with Managed Services Strategy & Portfolio.
  • Developing actively the new products lines based on agreed product roadmap
  • Acting as a center of excellence, from a technical and delivery standpoint, of the product line, promoting product standardization and cost sustainability
  • Driving Product Innovation and alignment with Bell labs/CTO (incl. standardization strategy).
  • Develop next generation value proposition for Cloud & Security together with MS Strategy & Portfolio.
  • Maintaining up to date view of competition and market.
  • Boosting and promoting our new and future MS Cloud & Security technologies into Nokia existing and potential customers
  • Thought leadership and regular contribution in generating customer focused strategic insights in the domain of Cloud & Security.
  • Customer interaction on strategic levels (CTO, Network Planning, Services Director, etc.), presenting strategic MS Cloud and Security positioning.
  • Defining the price strategy.
  • Managing End-to-End Product P&L, quality & market shares.
  • Developing specific customer propositions and support business development activities together with MS Market Units.
  • Providing Leadership to Product Line Managers.
 

 

Qualifications - Desired Skills and Experience
We are looking for a strong Cloud & Security expert with leadership profile who understands the strategic importance of this product segment in future digital value chain and can support Nokia’s Managed Services evolution into this domain. This role is expected to regularly contribute in developing strategic insights, drive various strategic programs and contribute in developing key partnerships and alliances. There is significant business development contribution also expected in these new domains and services.
  • Bachelor Degree in Telecom, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Line Management, Business Development or Product definition in Cloud & Security area, next generation services and solution ecosystem with good technology knowledge.
  • Proficiency in understanding service providers networks and its evolution.
  • Ability to work at strategic and architectural levels in next generation services.
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with senior management (internally & externally towards customers and suppliers) and ability to communicate and present to all levels of management.
  • Able to maintain a “big picture” perspective, identifying and evaluating opportunities where collaboration would enhance the business.
  • Deals well with difficult situations and is proactive in building and maintaining a network of effective relationships.
  • Readily and easily responses to unexpected events and circumstances.
  • Results orientated with strong analytical and problem resolution skills.
  • In-depth experience operating across the services business.
  • Ability to communicate and present strongly at various levels.
  • Able to effectively work with cross functional teams.
  • Clear Strategic mindset.
  • Strong team leadership skills with proven record to work in a virtual environment and the ability to lead team members with deep technical backgrounds as well as project and business managers.
  • A creative and innovative mind-set.
