General Purpose

Understands customer needs and turn it into high quality deliverables
Takes ownership of positioning product and consolidating Nokia footprint by demonstrating added value
Projects will be based upon NSP NFMP product. NPI engineer will be responsible for:
  • Identifies deliverables under his responsibility. Plans & executes these deliverables 
  • Will be prime interface with customer planning and design teams for any solution demands when assigned to project.
  • Produce comprehensive design documents matching customer requirements
  • Follow and provide design best practices  
  • Conducts customer upgrades and POCs providing detailed test plans to be conducted in customer’s LAB 
  • Interface with Design team (Regionals and Central) and PLM if needed
  • Provides technical support to presales consulting team upon request 
  • Identifies and analyses customer needs and advises them on solution/products that are the best fit. 
  • Proactively acting to understand customer technical needs, identifying potential solutions and creating customer awareness.
  • Offers solutions that secures and maintains Nokia business strategies
  • Strong experience in network management concepts and protocols like (TCP/IP, SNMP, NETCONF/YANG, CLI) 
  • Good understanding for IP/MPLS concepts and architectures. Being familiar with Nokia terminologies is an advantage
  • Expert level in Linux. Strong scripting capabilities will be highly considered
  • OSS and REST API integration experience 
  • Understanding of orchestration concepts
  • Experience in working with virtualization hypervisors
  • Ability to understand new technology concepts and subjects easily
  • Ability to keep developing effectively and quickly
  • Excellent communication skills verbal & written and documentation
  • Ability to organize and lead meeting with customer
  • Team player, and able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to manage conflicts
  • Willing to travel around 10% of time
  • Because the role is an integral part of the Technical community, the ability to work as part of a distributed team is critical.
  • The role will require flexible approach to work, especially when communicating with other Nokia groups as well as being able to thrive under pressure and prioritize tasks.

 Skill and Requirements
  • B. Sc. Degree in Computer, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent disciplines
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • 3+ years of relevant IP Network management systems expertise
