About Fixed Networks
Our Fixed Networks (FN) business group provides an array of “gigabit to the home” solutions to deliver data access to our communication service provider (CSP) customers. This includes Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) as well as 5G fixed wireless access (FWA), xDSL and cable upgrades. We build solutions that don’t stop at the home but also bring that gigabit experience into the home using our meshed Wi-Fi solution.
 
Job Description
The New Product Introduction Specialist works closely with the customer engineering leader and the technical project manager to define and execute demos, proof of concept, type approvals tests, field trials, and in general any New Product Introduction (NPI) related activities with our customer for any new product or solution. Accountable from definition to validation / acceptance by the customer - working with new elements / addition to our portfolio
 
Job Responsibilities & Competencies
Works independently and effectively in his / her area of New Product Introduction ( run Product or Solution Demos, Lab Trials, Field Trials, support formal Homologations or Type Approvals by customer on our products or solutions, provides technical support during pilot introduction of new products in customer networks) for pre-sales activities or deployment projects by delivering his / her outcomes with the expected quality, timely and according to estimated cost/duration.• Independently performs assignments with a broad guidelines and uses best practices and knowlede of internal and external business issues to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.• Transfers concepts for professional direction of own organizational unit into actionable measures. • Prepares New Product Introduction related activities with substantial discretion and uses specialist knowledge, analytical skills, judgment and broad conceptual and practical experience to solve complex issues and to contribute to process improvements.• Prepares Test Lab environment and generate NPI documentation of the planned activities with autonomy and reusing best practices.• May lead New Product Introduction activities from inception phase through execution and lesson learnt sharing.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirement: Bachelors in Telecomunications, Electronics, Computer engineering  
Knowledge of IP networks and FTTX networks and technology
Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CCNX or equivalent.
Knowledge of Operating systems like Linux 
Knowledge of programming , script writing is a definite plus 
Basic knowledge of Radio networks and concepts of 4G and 5G
