Job Responsibilities:
Act as consultant to Nokia customer in the area of Carrier SDN
Install, upgrade , commission WAN SDN and EMS modules
Integrate the several modules with the network elements
Carry out POCs and tests for Nokia customer
Gather customer requirement and transform them into workshop
Work in tandem with the back end team to deliver the best-in-class design document
Develop and validate MOPs
Working under minimal supervision
Answer to customer questions inherent to the SDN Nokia product
Liaise with pre-sales for feature request and/or new opportunities
Occasionally he might be requested to carry out night activities
Update design documents whenever needed
Work together with TPM during the development phase to carry out Acceptance Test
Job Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in Carrier SDN
At least 3 years of experience in networking
At least 4 years of experience in programming, scripting or modeling
Experience in databases and data modeling such as XML and JSON, RESTful API
Familiar with Carrier SDN concepts
Past experience in handling EMS/NSM systems in large service providers would be an advantage
Knowledge of SNMP protocols and in general southbound EMS to NE communication protocols
Preferably knowledge of the latest technologies such as Segment Routing, BGP-LS and PCEP protocols
Good to have a conceptual understanding of L3 and L2 MPLS services
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
Good communicator and able to deliver complex concepts in simple manner
Able to talk to different type of audience (technical and non-technical)
