Network Service Delivery Center, NI Services Optical Global Delivery serves Nokia’s customers worldwide. Our networks’ businesses are enabling a new type of network with the software and services to optimize network performance. We are seamlessly weaving together an increasingly diverse mix of technologies, to create efficient, smart, and agile networks, and enable new types of connected services, automated, secured, and managed through the Cloud. What you will learn and contribute to
We are looking for passionate about new challenges. A person who will be in position of the single point of contact for Optical Network Infrastructure projects delivery. Supervises the work of Nokia internal resources and 3rd party to deliver project commitments. Generates progress report, highlighting risks related to quality, cost and achieving technical milestones.
As part of our team, you will:
- prepare technical assessment and engineer's effort estimations for software upgrade and integration/transformation services
- manage a team of NI integration engineers assigned to the project, responsible for planning and scheduling of resources
- execute the project delivery per contract defined by SOW (Statement of Work) with accordance to Nokia Quality Management System
- monitor project progress, track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- manage communication with all project stakeholders including internal and customer interfaces, conduct escalation and RCA reports
- have opportunity to improve initiatives and issues handling
- ensure that project assets and documents are up to the date and shared with project team accordingly to confidential requirements
- ensure that project lessons learn are recorded in NSDC knowledge base
- support NSDC in new offers preparation (SoW, cost estimate, project assumptions)
Your skills and experience
You have:
- minimum of 5 years of telecom project experience
- good knowledge of Optical Network WDM technology
- very good communication skills (verbal and written) in English
- ability to work under the time pressure and apply project changes constantly
- good self organization with tasks prioritization and strong project management skills
It would be nice if you also had:
- experience in work on Nokia products 1830PSS or 1850TSS
- technology certificates or knowledge of SDH
- PMP/Prince 2 Fundamentals certification or TPM Nokia accreditation
