Experience

   More than 7 years of proven track record of industry related successful complex projects.

   Strong understanding of Project Management Tools and Methodologies.

   Experience as a Project Manager Optical Project(s).

   Experienced in Commercial Management in relation to Contract and Financial Project Management.

   PMP/PMI certification is desired.

   Escalate tough issue to CDM when necessary

   Conducts project “lessons learnt’ sessions and assures that these are archived and used to preserve best practice.

   Continually defines and communicates the short-, medium - and long term project goals and priorities to the project.

   Creates an environment where project team members and other stakeholders can constructively challenge

   Behaviors and propose new ideas

   Reports project progress, status, and forecasts to the appropriate stakeholders at the appropriate time in the appropriate format

   Confirms and delivers project information with accuracy, conciseness and thoroughness

   Identifies all stakeholders and understands their communications needs and feedback

   Understands and communicates project/phase acceptance criteria and handoffs

   Tracks, reviews and evaluates progress on a regular basis to ensure success and best return on investment (including cost tracking, Resources allocation strategy) for continuous improvement.

   Takes full responsibility for planning, organizing and piloting large global projects in complex and ambiguous Environments.

   Promotes and performs project change management process, and manages accordingly.

   Establishes project baseline and key success factors.

   Appropriately performs problem escalations.

   Understands and identifies contributing parties/ownership, negotiates and establishes commitment to meet project goals

   Arbitrates decision about project organization, people management and split of the cost.

   Manages all material, organizational and logistics aspects of the project

   Estimates workload within area of expertise

   Performs contract management strategy, tackling claims and penalties

 

RISK MANAGEMENT

   Identifies, analyzes, prioritizes and controls the risks involved in the project, from initial tender to delivery

   Conducts risk monitoring and controls to ensure the effectiveness of response actions

   Identifies risks associated with the cost, resource, schedule, technical and non-technical aspects of the project, develops and manages/leads a project risk register.

   Demonstrates understanding of organizational risk management policy and processes.

   Understand risk response strategies, and is able to determine contingency reserves and develops risk response.
