Pricing Specialist
Main Responsibility Area:
In this position you will be a part of Customer Pricing team within Commercial Management and you will be responsible for implementation of global/customer pricing strategies and definition of business cases to ensure short and long term competitive positioning and profitability of offered solution including commercial, financial and technical aspects.
Job Description
• Implement Nokia Pricing Principles in Nokia Pricing Tool for offers to Nokia customers worldwide for Nokia Mobile Networks portfolio.
• Ensure profitability targets are met as per Nokia Policies.
• Interact with Nokia Sales / Solution Teams for offer generation.
• Create offer business case in the respective Nokia tools and the resulting profitability estimation, to provide full transparency (briefings) to the respective decision makers.
• Create Price Benchmarking.
• Propose alternative Pricing or Discounting mechanism or optimisations, if applicable.
• Provide pricing data for analytics.
• Document pricing assumptions and communicate to relevant teams.
• Participate the approval in his/her area of responsibility
• In order to support the cases worldwide, the Pricing Engineer will be required to work in shifts.
Additional Requirements
• University degree in economics, financial or engineering
• At least 4 years of experience in shared service center
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel (i.e. Pivot tables)
• Fluent in Business English (both written and spoken)
• Strong analytical, problem solving and synthesis skills,
• Understanding of Business Case building
• Organizational skills and ability to work under time pressure and with complex tasks
• Team player
• Highly responsible person who act independently within his/her own responsibility area
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to travel worldwide
• Background in pricing would be a clear plus
• Understanding of the Nokia MN product and service portfolio / Mobile Telecommunication Systems
