Team Manager for Indirect Markets and Tactical Procurement, IP, GOPS:
Responsible for ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness, quality, validation and compliance with internal policies, control, and general business practices. Integrates the delivery of clients’ services, supplier and partner co-operation by ensuring that business targets are met. Applies broad and in depth business management knowledge to resolve multi discipline or multi-functional / process problems.
 
Key tasks:
  1. Allocation and management of work to team members and first point of escalation for issues from the team
  2. Study the monthly/quarterly expected volume data and planning for workload as needed
  3. Establish the key deliverables and ensuring that the team can deliver against these
  4. Provide analysis and recommendations where targets have not been met
  5. Support the team in resolving complex operational issues
  6. Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for the team are met
  7. Continuously monitor KPI performance and take remedial action where required to ensure performance and quality standards are met
  8. Connect regularly with stakeholders to understand their needs and communicate updates, changes and actions required in the team
  9. Manage disputes and handle escalations with priority arising in PO flow
  10. Supervise and continuously improve the efficiency of the team by implementing optimized processes
  11. Address breaches and establish adherence in NOKIA indirect purchasing policies
  12. Ensure that all external and internal control and SOX regulations are adhered to, and full compliance is maintained for business-as-usual (BAU) activities
  13. Get work done with proper attention to quality, timeliness  and customer satisfaction
  14. Ensure workload is evenly balanced across the team and recommend changes if needed
  15. Coach, develop and establish succession plans for own team
  16. Ensure correct staffing (volume / skills etc.) and manage recruitment and development of the team members
  17. Train new joiners and monitor performance during the training and probation period
  18. Support team performance by undertaking activity as required e.g. covering other team roles during absence or during peaks in demand

Competencies and experience

               

·         GOPS Processes and Tools

o    SBM House of tools

o    Vendor Master Data Processes

o    Procurement Processes & Tools (myOrders, SRM etc.)

·         Nokia + CFO Mode of Operation & Processes

·         Quality Management

·         Excellent communication and presentation skills with management experience

·         Living by Our Ethics

·         Seeking and Sharing Knowledge             

·         Planning and Organizing            

·         Problem Solving

·         Managing complex environment

·         Change management

·         Fluent written and spoken English

·         Familiar with procurement function and supply base management

·         Motivated to contribute to Indirect category strategy and targets

·         Expert knowledge in several indirect procurement related categories

·         1-3 years’ experience in procurement preferred

·         2-4 years’ people management experience: hiring and coaching team members, leading team, ideally within a shared service center environment

·         Operational procurement experience required, procurement system (myOrders, SAP, SBM) experience needed, understanding of operational procurement

·         Good knowledge of procedures and issues within P2P

·         Reporting & data analysis skills needed

·         Ability to communicate procurement information with non-procurement employees

·         Continuous Improvement (CI) mind-set

·         Strong MS Office skills are required (Outlook, Excel, PPT)
