Experiences and Competencies:
- Experience and knowledge of complex technology products and/or solutions
- A seasoned business leader with a proven track record of delivering successful products, solution and customer programs/projects
- Results-oriented and self-starter who can translate user problems and needs into great products, while managing complex product decisions and trade-offs
- Strong data and analytical skills
- Experience in an early stage, privately-held, or high-growth company at the senior management level
- Ability to recognize market trends and deliver new products and solutions opportunities
- Good understanding of technology products and/or solutions with strong aptitude for learning new technologies
- Track record of collaborating with a direct team and an ecosystem of partners
- Demonstrated ability to drive positive change by ensuring buy-in from internal and external stakeholders
- Sound decision-making capabilities & the ability to make decisions in absence of consensus when necessary
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences. Must be comfortable working collaboratively across many groups within the organization, including: sales, business development, product management, marketing, services & support, manufacturing/operations, program management, legal, and finance
- Experience in establishing and managing key performance indicators
- Great project-management skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent understanding of the industry landscape (competitors and partners)
- Ability to shift from high-level thinking to realistic and pragmatic execution is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills: ability to communicate technology strategy and architecture approach to engineers, executives, and Nokia customers (at all levels) ; proficiency in conflict management, negotiation, and presentation/demonstration
- Detailed knowledge and experience in the Optical, Ethernet and IP networking architectures of SP and/or Enterprise and/or vertical market segments

Qualifications:
- Academic credentials in Engineering, MBA or advanced degree is an asset
- Minimum of 10+ years of Product Management or Project Management experience; ideally in a senior management role, having positioned and delivered solutions in the areas of Optical, Ethernet and IP networks
