Mobile Networks includes mobile network products, network deployment, technical support services, network design and optimization and related network management. This business group will offer the full portfolio for customers wanting to buy mobile access networks. It’s an exciting time to join Mobile Networks, a €10bn revenue business as we steer forward on a mission to lead in technologies such as 5G, ORAN and vRAN.

 

Main Responsibility Areas

We are looking for the leader of the MN Product Marketing function.

The mission of that role is:

  • To ensure efficient roadmap communication and world class product marketing across all customer domains
  • To improve significantly product marketing and sales capability creation in pre-sales and sales
  • To provide differentiating product and solution marketing support for BGs and enable sales to effectively sell against the competition
  • To effectively communicate externally Nokia’s solutions and differentiators, driving thought leadership and brand recognition in the MN domain

Main responsibilities in summary:

  • Creation of Mobile Networks product and solution marketing content to support market awareness and demand generation campaigns, ABM activities and sales enablement
  • Building market awareness, driving demand and accelerating deal flow for Nokia's offerings to CSP and cable customer
  • Delivering targeted programs to drive market awareness, engaging buyers and influencers, creating demand, and accelerating the sales pipeline.
  • Creating high-quality and differentiated content to comprehensively address buyer and seller needs and establishing Nokia as the vendor of choice.
  • Lead the MN product marketing team, coordinating campaign activities and building a strong collaboration with other relevant areas in MN and other functions
  • Managing the internal and external communications and regional media matters
  • Representing Nokia Mobile Networks in external engagements with press and industry analysts, effectively promoting Nokia’s point of view on relevant technology topics
  • Support field marketing organization in defining and creating the content to support local activities with customers and other regional stakeholders
  • Coordinate the planning of MN’s presence in major external events, including messaging creation and demo development
  • Supporting Market Product Sales in large scale capability development, sales certification trainings on solutions & products and customer workshops on key sales topics

 
Position Requirements

The successful candidate has proven experience in leading geographically distributed and multi-cultural teams. He/ She has ability to role model and foster transparency, trust, open collaboration and continuous improvement within own unit and across organizations, creating a fearless and cohesive environment that provides psychological safety and encourages positive challenge, responsible risk taking and constructive discussion.

  • Proven C-level presentation and interaction skills (internally, customers, partners)
  • Ability to manage complexity, uncertainty and ambiguity; High situational adaptability
  • Ability to cope with pressure and stress
  • Desire for simplicity and pragmatism (as opposed to being theoretical and unpractical)

Competence Requirements

  • Strong experience in Product Marketing;
  • Solid track record of developing portfolio positioning messages, in a highly competitive environment
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of MN products;
  • Solid track record in external engagements with customers, press and industry analysts;
  • Deep understanding of key technology topics: 5G, Cloud-RAN/vRAN, Open RAN
  • Strong communication skills.
