About Network Infrastructure
The mission of the Network Infrastructure (NI) Business Group is to be the most trusted partner for the world’s most critical network infrastructure. NI will respond to the ever-increasing demand for networks with higher capacity, greater reliability, faster speeds, and lower costs.

Job Position Description:
The IP Optical Networking (ION) R&D Program Management team is looking for a Project Manager responsible for tasks and projects towards maximizing the business impact of the R&D community through the achievement of the Business Unit strategies and goals.  In addition to direct interactions with Optics leadership team in product portfolio and business strategies, at the tactical level, the project management role will involve working closely with various functional teams within Optics and supporting Nokia organizations in developing the monthly dashboard package to facilitate executive business management and decisions.

Job Responsibilities & Competencies
• Project management which includes business data gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and consolidation from Product Management, R&D, regional sales teams, corporate support groups, Supply Chain and Quality teams.
• Following prevalent critical issues and topics, synthesize and analyze the business data in concise monthly dashboard package which aims to sharpen focus on state of the business and accelerate decisions and actions for resolutions.
• Keeping track of issue status and action progress, maintain dynamic interim reports to improve overall team efficiency and effectiveness for quantifiable business results.

Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
• Solid communication skills, ability to interact and develop relationships with all levels of management across globally distributed diverse teams
• Proven ability to create / deliver executive level presentations
• Solid command of MS Office Tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
• Proven effectiveness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated success to drive projects with contributions and deliverables from various groups internal and external to Optics BU
• Knowledge of optical concepts WDM/ROADM/SWDM/Optical Networks a plus
• Solid Optical experience across functional areas including business management, business development, product management, and bids and proposals.
• Ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional global R&D environment
