Accountable for managing priortized Finance projects which have a remarkable business impact, reaching over multiple cross-stakeholder segments. Manages program over their full life-cycle. Ensures stakeholder satisfaction, compliance and execution with agreed quality, cost, schedule and scope/deliverables. Resolves issues, mitigates risks, and manages scope changes.
 

Challenging solution proposals from Software Vendors and System Integrators to ensure simplicity and usability for the business with a low cost of ownership. Defining the scope of Application Solution releases to maximize business impact across an E2E business process taking into account the change management. Dependencies and implications to architecture, security, data integrity, performance and solution lifecycle.

 
Key tasks and main responsibilities:
Defines project/program scope, deliverables & targets, structure and governance. With support from other IT functional roles, participates to investment proposal preparation and  business case creation (including relevant business& IT value impact)
Chooses or follows the appropriate method and tools to manage the project, in order to enhance agility and agile development methodologies, adapts appropriate PM practices. Preparing and planning scope and commitment against approved budget, schedule and quality expectations, ensuring successful accomplishment of the project/program.
Defines needed resource requirements and responsibilities. Plan, agree and manage needed resources, and allocate and assign work and responsibilities. Contribute to the Supplier selection  with vendor management.
Working with key business/IT stakeholders to ensure buy-in for change. Manage change to bring value to business through effective project and program management.
Identifies and analyze risks, and manages them.
Manages dependencies to other project/programs and relevant services.
Manages and control project tasks, deliverables, reports, schedules & milestones according to PM methodology;
Project structure, governance, cost planning, controlling and reporting, risk management, change management, communication & training
Defines progress measurements. Reviews and reports the performance periodically. Ensures transparency in reporting.
Contributes to project reviews internally and toward partners. Facilitates and drives continuous improvement of the activities, based on the surveys, Lessons Learned, Best Practices etc.
Concept creation, testing  and IT related activities. Piloting and deployment related activities
Coordinates progress and issue handling by keeping status meetings and action lists in a regular and documented manner.
Manages approvals, validations and steering group meetings. Manage change control.
Provides leadership, drive change, motivate participants and commit stakeholders.
Controls and understands the scope item content and their implications on the end-to-end processes.
Ensures deliverables handover to service and project closing activities.
Has a broadly "agile" mindset, applying approaches as Agile, Scrum and DevOps to deliver IT projects/programs. May works as Agile PM/Project Lead but also in supportive project role, e.g.  “Development team  member”  in agile projects, for ensuring continues improvement
  • Good understanding of software development models, competences and experience to successfully using both traditional and agile project methodologies in delivering large and complex IT projects. Understanding when it is appropriate to use which methodology  
  • Understanding Cloud, SaaS,  Mobile concepts, architectures, and standard deployment models 
  • Experience evaluating the change management impact of a proposed solution.
  • Ability to understand the process and solution architecture E2E across multiple technologies.
  • Comfortable with agile, DevOps and waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience in leading and guiding external project teams.
  • Understanding of the relationship between costs, schedule, quality, speed in a defining a solution and make tradeoff recommendations
  • Prior experience with waterfall and SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects
  • Business and technical background:
    • Necessary level of technical background to successfully manage software development projects understanding the solution on sufficient level to lead project team and manage risks and timelines
    • Ability to interact with business stakeholders in order to understand the business problem and provide right solutions to business
