PROJECT MANAGER, PRODUCT PACKAGING & IDENTIFICATON SOLUTIONS
General purpose
Product packaging and identification solutions team is responsible of packaging design for new products out from R&D. We also continuously seek out and execute improvements in supply network packaging efficiency. We own related specifications, concepts, processes and other guidance documentation. Our team is also in charge of identification labels and concepts in products and packages. Physical manifestation of these are barcodes, but main scope of work is with related processes, concepts and capabilities & functionality of IT-tools related to identification. Also dangerous goods transportation management (DGRm) concept belongs to our team.
We are now looking for a Project manager.
Main responsibility area
Project management of Product Packaging, Identification and DGRm related projects and improvement activities. In charge of KPI reporting and development. Contributes to creation and updates of global guidance documentation in Product Packaging, Identification and DGRm area
Job Description
Main tasks:

Project management of Product Packaging and Identification related projects and improvement activities
-
In charge of monthly KPI reporting and development.
-
Ensures and supports improvements and use of the specifications and other guidance documentation within product development and supply network processes and tools
-
Participates / strives quality improvement activities and projects
-
Strives Kaizen culture ; ensures continuous flow of improvement ideas and speedy implementation.

Representative of Packaging and identification interest in development of interrelated IT-tools and processes within sister – and upper level organizations and across Nokia and externally
-
Supplements team of existing Helpdesk duty officers ; solve daily issues, provide advice, distribute specifications and guidelines as needed.

Qualifying candidate would have a mix of following Skills / Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in technically oriented position in a multicultural, virtual organization.

Experience in hardware product development (R&D) or in manufacturing

Experience in supply network - & logistics processes

Experience and successful track record in Project management
-
Experience in design, testing & documenting of product packaging
-
Experience in mechanical design
-
Knowledge of product identification technologies, product and package markings and barcoding standards and practices
-
Good technical writing skills
-
Experience in Kaizen and Lean practices & Quality tools
Education
Minimum B.Sc. in relevant technical field or equivalent work experience.
