Job Description

Project Procurement associates with specifying project procurement demands, selecting and contracting with suppliers, maintaining the relationship to the suppliers, and managing the lifecycle; including supplier performance, risk, and phase-out for all suppliers for direct material and services.

The Project Procurement Manager Manages procurement related topics. Defines and maintains the Country and Project Procurement Plan, based on strategy definitions. Coordinate all procurement related activities and drives local suppliers in alignment with the market procurement strategy and category strategy.
Manages the project procurement topics during pre& post sales, he/she acts as main interface/SPOC for RBC, Sales team and Local project team on procurement related topics, coordinate with Regional Category Manager and Regional Procurement Leader of in alignment with the Market Strategy

 

Job Responsibilities & Competencies

 

  • Supplier selection, negotiations and contracting for the agreed category areas, in agreement with and support of Category Manager.
  • Analyses supply market anticipates changes and drives associated procurement activities.
  • Evaluates contracts (with support of L&C) and suppliers. Makes final supplier base decisions with relevant stakeholders.
  • E2E operational procurement activity ownership towards business/project’s requirement
  • Accountable for all procurement activities from bid phase until project closing, in alignment with Supplier Base Management strategy and process
  • Ensures that procurement activities are aligned with relevant stakeholders and meet all relevant regulatory and legal requirements including SOX.
  • Supplier management, including supplier relationship, development, performance monitoring etc.
  • TCO management
  • Mediation and dispute handling between project, suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Project intelligence analyze

 

Qualifications

 

  • Typically Bachelor degree (preferably Master degree), technical or commercial focus
  • 5+ years of experience in an operating Procurement function
  • Business acumen, able to simplify complexity and familiar with decision making and leading through ambiguous situations
  • Project management experience recommended
  • Team working spirit
  • Fluent in English
