Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

  • Analyze and continuously follow up the performance of GSD NI Engineers 

  • Analyzing, providing solutions and Reporting for quality problems to GSD NI Manager. 

  • Identify and follow up KPI agreed with GSD NI Manager. 

  • Perform Swaps, Site Integration and New site builds. 

  • Execute critical NI activities 

  • Prepare and communicate - Report for   all activities to project organization and GDC NI Manager

Technologies: LTE/SRAN/5G  

 

Remote Integration Delivery 

 

  • Good hands-on working experience on Nokia Remote Integration (2G/LTE/5G). 

  • Solid understanding on 5G Solutions (SA/NSA) 

  • LTE/5G concepts and procedures i.e. Call flow etc. should be clear 

  • Good know how of Nokia Air scale BTS / SRAN BTS h/w: System Modules, RF modules, Antenna and associated gains & losses of the system. 

  • Should be familiar with Nokia tools like NetAct, URSA, NDPd, PnP etc.., different integration solutions. 

  • Solid understanding of Nokia Parameter, Mo Objects and KPI’s 

  • Should be good at audit process and correction which includes configuration audits, parameters audit. 

  • Customer focused, high degree of technical skills to resolve complex network issues. 

  • Good at customer handling, Analytical approach, Problem solving and Presentation skills 

  • Aware about Site configuration and be able to detect issues with configuration to propose solutions. 

  • Familiarity with Power Control and impact of various power setting on the LTE/5G network. 

  • Able to communicate effectively while working with a large team in collaborative mode working in different time-zones 

  • Able to meet targets consistently and maintain complete transparency within the team 

  • Ready and available to Work in difference (APJ, IND, MEA, NAM, Shifts etc..) 

  

Main Responsibility Area: 

  • Commissioning & Integration of 2G, 3G, LTE and 5G sites within SITs. 

  • Hand on experience on network modernization Activities. (SRAT to SRAN, Carrier addition and modification, Bandwidth Upgrade with new Layer addition) 

  • Expertise in NetAct tools handling. 

  • Nokia Products handling AirScale (ASIA/ABIA/ASIB/AMIA/ASIK/ABIL/ASIL/ABIO). 

  • Physical Fiber & RF connectivity background and troubleshooting. 

  • Effective written and Verbal communication & interaction with Field force. 

  • Excellent Bridge handling skills during remote integration and Troubleshooting. 

  • Software upgrade of 2G/3G/LTE/5G nodes  

  • Swap and Modernization of 2G, 3G, LTE and 5G sites within standard and agreed SITs 

  • Rehoming of 2G, 3G, LTE sites within Maintenance Window 

  • NI process checklists adherence for every integration performed.  

  • Cross functioning service in multiple NI projects 

  • Configuration changes of 2G,3G& LTE/5G sites and troubleshooting of new sites integration issues 

  • Field /Remote working experience on integration and commissioning  

  • Level 2 Trouble Shooting on BTS, Node B, eNodeB B & GnodeB. 

  • Adherence of NI process checklists 

  • Should be flexible in work timings and ready to work on 24/7 support. 

  • Trouble shooting support for alarms during integration phase 

  • Remote support for FE during integration and troubleshooting by call 

  • Network Monitoring for Alarms and KPI for all Network Elements. 

  • Analysis of RAN alarms and prompt troubleshooting 

  • Understands FM main interfaces including Field Operations. 

  • Manages/Uses the Alarm Management processes and tools to detect, 

  • Assign the problems in line with Operator SLAs 

  • The role will involve work in the Network Operations Centre on a 24x7 on shift Rota basis. 

  • Escalating trouble tickets, both technical and management. 

  • Alarm Monitoring, KPI monitoring, Fault Localization/Correction/Verification* 

  • Ensures planned outages are carried out/rolled back in maintenance window 

  • Configuration changes of 2G,3G& LTE/5G sites and troubleshooting of new sites integration issues
