Recruitment Consultant (Based in Malaysia, KL)
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Build and Grow
- Build and manage partnerships
with business leaders, hiring managers and HR to deliver talent
acquisition plans in Singapore as part of the APJ team
- Responsible for business/account management
activities within the assigned client groups/business
divisions. Builds relationships and trust to effectively gauge
needs and influence hiring decisions. Identifies issues early
in the process and resolves problems proactively, uses data and results to
make decisions and provides status updates on a regular basis.
- Collaborates with Hiring Managers/HR to
clearly define the core accountabilities of the position, outline
expectations for the recruitment process to source and select the best qualified
candidate(s) for the position.
- Utilizes a variety of sourcing methods to
create candidate pipeline to meet frontline hiring
needs. Including, but not limited to, database mining,
internet/web searches, direct sourcing, networks, and employee referrals.
- Complete candidate assessment & selection,
competency based interviewing.
- Offer negotiation – liaise with HR and Comp
& Ben regarding relevant financial packages and negotiate with
candidates
- Grow to be the subject matter expert on
recruiting markets, competitive trends, compensation and share your
knowledge with the team
- Be a brand ambassador and ensure and deliver
the best candidate experience
- Collaborate with the APJ regional recruitment
lead and other recruiters to support regional recruitment strategies
internally and externally
- Work with third party agencies/head hunters
where appropriate to help source top tier candidates
2. Management of NOKIA’s recruitment
management system – Our Talent (Taleo)
- Ensuring all applications
are transacted through the tool correctly
- Ensuring all candidates are
accurately tracked through the relevant workflow steps in the too (in
conjunction with the HRSC where applicable)
- Ensuring all job postings
are attractively advertised complying with anti-discrimination regulations
and international legal standards
- Coaching hiring managers to
use OurTalent Recruiting tool to their maximum benefit (in conjunction
with the HRSC where applicable) and
- Training Managers where
necessary in developing BBI interviewing skills.
- Partnering with HR & the
HR Service Centre (HRSC)
3. Projects & Branding
- Management of recruitment campaigns and
external advertising, ensuring the NOKIA employment brand is adhered to
and enhanced.
- Usage of innovative and cost-efficient
sourcing channels such as social media and referral programmes.
WHO YOU ARE
- Passionate and excited about People and Talent
- Able to communicate in English
- Process oriented ideally experienced in
full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding
- Tech savvy with knowledge social media
- Knowledge Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) in
particular Taleo is good
- Clear and careful communicator
- Previous work experience in the Telecoms or
Technology industry would be advantageous
