Main purpose of the role and key responsibilities:
- Apply customer specific configuration in the network elements’ subsystems mostly abroad at customers’ sites
- Perform SW maintenance activities such as installation & test of technical/change notes /change deliveries.
- Carry out independently complex technical activities such a SW upgrades/updates Service, Expert Support and technical audits on site.
- On-site support at customer premises participating network operation service
- Ensure high availability of Core network services through effective Project delivery. This would involve activities such as troubleshooting, root cause analysis, correction development, testing and implementation.
Position Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree from technical university e.g. Electrical Engineering/ Telecommunication Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of one of the following areas is advantage: Networking (general IP networking/routing), Unix/Linux competence is needed, IMS solutions, SIP protocol, IP protocol
- Ability to learn fast new technologies, to work independently in a virtual and multi-cultural team environment but also be a great team-player
- English language skills - Fluent spoken and written English
- Driving license
- Mobility - readiness to accept longer international assignments
