Our Nokia Software Application Services division is looking for an experienced Security Solution Architect to join a team based in Portugal. 


Key Responsibilities - the ideal candidate will be expected to provide:

  • Expert technical contribution to the design of security infrastructures that support the overarching security policies and doctrines of the customer.
  • Technical knowledge and analysis of information assurance, to include applications, operating systems, physical security, networks, risk assessment, critical infrastructure continuity and contingency planning, emergency preparedness, security awareness and training.

  • Analysis of existing system’s vulnerability to possible intrusions, resource manipulation, resource denial and destruction of resources.

  • Technical support and analysis to document organizational information protection framework, and supports policy and procedures preparation and implementation.

  • Guidance, direction and vision in the support and deployment of technology safeguards.

  • Ability to work with project managers, business analysts and contractors on security solutions to address customer’s security requirements.

  • Research and information on security related solutions.

  • Software evaluations and testing of new and existing security solutions.

  • Third level support resource on security products and problems that are in use.

  • Installation, configuration, and operation of technology safeguard solutions in highly complex environments and instruct and direct those doing these tasks as well.

Additional Tasks

  • Work with the Security team to support the delivery of offers using a combination of local resources, other Nokia Software resources, and external subcontractors.

  • Support the development of a customer base and support the delivery of products

  • Ensure that the products and services delivered to customers are reviewed for accuracy, completeness, and that it meets the customer's needs

  • Provide network architecture, risk assessment, and MOP consultation support and guidance

  • Provide security policy and compliance consultation support and guidance

  • Collaborate across multiple business units to leverage resources and delivery best in class services

Qualifications Required 

  • Minimum 10 years working in the Security field as a consultant
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 
  • Combine technical expertise with a business-minded approach
  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Self-starter, requiring little or no supervision or direction
  • Team player, capable of operating in a complex network of human and professional relations
  • Focused on achieving results and meeting long term goals
  • Ready and capable to apply creative and analytical approaches to problem solving
  • Expertise in Security architecture and operations
  • The vision to identify customer needs and identify Nokia solutions to satisfy those needs.
  • Work autonomously in a professional manner.
