Description:
 
The Customer Solutions Architect acts as a trusted advisor partnering with the customers on their needs. Understands and captures the critical inputs of stakeholders and translates them into effective requirements and solutions. Specifies and designs effective end-to-end solutions incl. customer-specific adaptations by using the Nokia portfolio of products, systems and / or services as well as 3rd party products where required. Applies solution architecture standards, processes, and principles to create and maintain a solution's (technical) integrity over time.
• Develops customer specific architecture and high-level solution design.                                                           
• Keeps permanent contact with customer's CTO / Chief Architect team.                                                           
• Provides direction and sets expectations for creation of new business opportunities and evaluates new technology solutions.     
• Participates in large, complex and / or key customer solution selling cases.
• Understands and captures the critical inputs of stakeholders, and translates them into effective requirements and solutions.
• Specifies and designs effective end-to-end solutions, through the high as well as low level design of architecture, to meet customer needs in a market positioning prospective.
• Applies solution architecture standards processes and principles, to create and maintain a solution's integrity over time, including verification that the solution meets the clients requirements.
• Develops the full scope of the solution, working across organisations to achieve workable solutions.
• Researches, designs, plans, develops and evaluates an effective solution in specialised domains to meet customers' requirements and outcomes, thanks to high as well as low level design of architecture.
• Applies solution architecture standards processes and principles, to create and maintain a solution's integrity over time.
• Develops the full scope of the solution, working across organisations to achieve workable solutions.
• Influences strategic decisions within professional area that affect the performance of the subfunction (e.g. a subset of a function, typically consisting of several areas with independent budgets).
• Independently develops concepts to set the professional direction of own organisational unit.
• Solves highly complex or novel problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment.
• Independently develops concepts to set the professional direction of own organisational unit.
• Acts as a senior subject matter expert, typically at a global or regional level, in many organisational units the most senior internal expert who serves as best practice / quality resource and is an acknowledged authority both within and outside own organisational unit.
• Often leads functional teams or projects with considerable resource requirements, risk, and complexity, handles day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work.in R&D stream.
Management Experience / Mastery of a specific professional discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and practice within a function. Expert in more than one area, broad perspective.

Qualifications:

 

Requires 7 years extensive relevant experience and/or a graduate / postgraduate equivalent degree.
